I excessively worry about what others think of me.
How intense is my anxiety when I am talking to one or more people?
I apologize, ask if I hurt their feelings, and ask others what they think of me.
I excessively worry about things I said to others and replay it in my head.
How many hours a day do I spend playing or replaying scenarios in my head about past or future interactions?
My anxiety thoughts about myself or others affect my daily functioning. (work, school, family, etc.)
I worry others are saying bad things about me behind my back.
How distressed do I feel if I am stuck in a social situation and am unable to leave?
I worry I will say the wrong thing, say something foolish, and others will judge me.
Mild - 0-9 Your scores indicate that you may struggle with Social Anxiety and your symptoms are MILD. It does not seem to interfere greatly with your daily functioning at the moment.
Moderate - 10-15 Your scores indicate that you may struggle with Social Anxiety and your symptoms are MODERATE. It may interfere greatly with your daily functioning.
Severe – 16-21 Your scores indicate that you may struggle with Social Anxiety and your symptoms are SEVERE. It may interfere greatly with your daily functioning. Medical and/or seeing a therapist is highly recommended to help alleviate and manage your symptoms.
Extremely Severe – 22-27 Your scores indicate that you may struggle with Social Anxiety and your symptoms are EXTREMELY SEVERE. It may interfere greatly with your daily functioning. Medical and/or seeing a therapist is highly recommended to help alleviate and manage your symptoms.
